What color of menstrual blood is normal?

What does your period blood colour mean? 

Different colors of menstrual blood may be you have been see, colors  represent different physical conditions.

Normal colors: bright red, dark red, brown or black.

Warning colors: pink, orange, gray or white blocks.

Bright red

Normal: Pretty healthy menstrual color, it means that the menstrual blood is fresh and quickly eliminated from your body. Bright red menstrual blood usually appears at the beginning of the menstrual period.

Dark red

Normal: Dark red menstrual blood usually appears in middle of the menstrual period.  Menstrual blood stays in the uterus or vagina channel for a long time and slightly oxidizes, so the color is darker.

Brown or black

Normal: This is old blood, which means that the menstrual blood stays in the body for a long time, usually appearing at the beginning or end of the menstrual period. For previous menstrual blood was not completely discharged, or some of menstrual blood stay in your body over 5-7 days.

Abnormal: If there is persistent brown or black blood outside of the menstrual period, you may need to consult a doctor to rule out infection or other health problems.

Pink

Abnormal: It may be due to a small amount of blood mixed with cervical secretions or other fluids, which is usually seen in low hormone levels, such as low estrogen levels, ovulation spotting, etc.

Orange

Gray or with white lumps

Abnormal: Gray menstrual blood is usually a sign of infection, bacterial vaginitis. In addition, grayish-white discharge may also indicate signs of miscarriage. Therefore, if gray menstrual blood appears, it is recommended to see a doctor immediately.
